Our Team
At Sport Wales our biggest assets are our staff.
The delivery of our sector wide Vision is our primary aim and we recognise
that at Sport Wales we need to providing our partners with
appropriate challenge and support to achieve this.
We want to be empowering our partners to improve performance and
participating in sport in Wales, ensuring that they share
responsibility for delivering on ambitious outcomes. Our staff have
the knowledge and skills to facilitate this step change on the
ground with our partners. We want all our partners to be ambitious
for their areas and sports, with our staff helping them to fulfil
their potential.
Board
Led by our Chair, Professor Laura McAllister, our Board
comprises of 13 highly experienced individuals from all walks of
life including education, health, business and of course sport. You

Management
Our Senior Management Team have responsiblity for the overall
delivery of our Corporate and Business Plans as well as various
elements of organisational development, more of which can be read

Sport Wales Advisory Group
The group is made up of 13 leading figures from commerce,
health, communications, education and leisure and are tasked with
providing insight on future challeneges facing the industry and
ensuring the long term delivery of our vision for the sports sector
in Wales.

Team Wales
We have a growing commitment to becoming a high performing
organisation and recognise the important role that collabortating
with our partners, both traditional and non-traditional, has on
achieving our aim of uniting a proud sporting
nation.
With 160 staff based across our four locations in Wales, head
office in Cardiff and regional offices in Carmarthen, Deeside and
Caernarfon, we take a regional approach to developing sport. To get
