An Olympic and Paralympic first, the London 2012 Inspire programme enables
non-commercial organisations across the UK to link their events and
projects to the London 2012 Games in an official scope. Find out

Torch Relay
The Olympic Flame will travel to within an hour of 95 per cent
of people in the UK, Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey during the
70-day Olympic Torch Relay. It will enable local communities to
shine a light on the best their area has to offer - from
breathtaking landscapes to dynamic urban areas. Find out if the torch is coming through a town near
you.
The Paralympic Torch Relay will help generate
excitement for the Games before the Opening Ceremony as it journeys
through the UK nations. Plans are underway for an exciting and
unique Relay, which will include a series of celebrations and
events. Watch this space for more information, available later this
year.

Volunteering
Sporting events around the world are supported by an army of
Volunteers and London 2012 is no exception. See how you could volunteer your time and be involved in the
Olympic and/or Paralympic Games.
Events are just one way to volunteer in sport, sports clubs
provide the best opportunities to help you get involved in your
favourite sport.
Volunteer roles include coaching, administration, refereeing,
driving and management which all fulfil an important role in sport.
It is the commitment of time and energy for the benefit of society

Cultural Olympiad
The London 2012 Cultural Olympiad is the largest
cultural celebration in the history of the modern Olympic and
Paralympic Movements.
Live Sites
