20 year-old Brandon Dodge followed in his father's footsteps when he took up judo at the age of nine. The past 11 years have seen him take up the sport full-time and become the current Senior British Champion.

Originally from Aberdare, Dodge was a pupil at Gowerton Comprehensive School and trains at the Sport Wales National Centre three times a day.

He returned from the 2011 European Cup in Malaga with a bronze medal and has claimed many international medals and titles.

Brandon's younger brother, Curtis, is also a full-time judo athlete and part of the Welsh squad.
