Paul Karabardak's table tennis talent has sent him to all
corners of the globe including Norway, Sweden, Italy, Slovenia, the
Czech Republic and Las Vegas and of course China as he was selected
to represent Team GB at the Beijing Paralympics in 2008.
The right-handed rock fan has left-sided hemiplegia, which was
caused by a stroke when he was 10 years-old. Doctors said that he
would never be able to walk again. Paul provided them wrong and has
gone to win the British Championships three times.
He refused to let his disability get in the way of his love of
sport. Just 12 months after his stroke, he signed up to Penlan
Leisure Centre's table tennis club.
