Irish-born Fionn comes from a background in hurling and gaelic
football, where he was exposed to strength and conditioning support
as an athlete before moving to Cardiff to pursue an MSc in Sport
and Exercise Science.
Fionn joined the Sport Wales Institute in September 2010 as an
intern, before being employed as a strength and conditioning coach
in June 2011.
In his current role, Fionn leads the strength and conditioning
support for wrestling, badminton, shooting, table tennis and
individual athletes from Disability Sport Wales and sprint cycling
in their preparations for the Commonwealth, Olympic and Paralympic
Games.
