What we do
The People & Programme team are responsible for
managing the training and development of all our
programmes.
Our work covers the full range of sports participants from young
people through to adults.
Active Young People
Active kids become active adults. Our programmes engage with
young people making sure that they have the skills and confidence
to become active throughout their lives.
There are 3 main programmes to support Active Young
People:
We also support work linking schools with clubs and young
peoples' organisations and initiatives such as Free Swimming.
Active Adults
Did you know just 30 minutes of moderate
intensity exercise five days a week is all you need to achieve that
healthy lifestyle.
That equates to just 1.5 per cent of the total time in a
seven-day week!
People of all ages who are generally inactive can improve their
health and well-being by becoming active on a regular basis. And
the benefits of doing so are plenty.
